Printing and dyeing machinery and air flow dyeing machine use air as the medium to drive the fabric running, without the assistance of other devices. Water is only used for dyeing, so it can be dyed with low bath ratio. For example, the bath ratio of cotton fiber is about 1:4, the chemical fiber is about 1:2 ~ 1:3, and the atomization dye solution makes it unnecessary to spray the dye solution directly on the fabric, so as to avoid the water spraying the fabric and accelerate the dye penetration into the fabric fiber at the same time. Due to the low bath ratio, the consumption of additives, salt and alkali is greatly reduced. The special washing system (Vpr), which can wash and drain at the same time, can provide 180 liters of water per minute for washing, with high washing efficiency and low water consumption, which is 50% lower than that of traditional dyeing machine. Due to less water consumption, the time of water intake, drainage, heating and cooling is reduced, and the time of the whole dyeing process is shortened accordingly.

As the overall time is shortened, the power consumption is lower than that of the traditional water flow dyeing machine. The control of moisture regain in the whole drying process is related to three important indexes: product quality, production efficiency and energy consumption cost. The main purpose of reducing energy consumption cost is to avoid over drying.

Their practice shows that the moisture regain control of automatic drying process can produce higher economic benefits than the moisture regain control by hand feeling test: first, relying on the equipment to make the production operation digitalized and automated, the workers' control ability of production quality index can be programmed and standardized, otherwise there will be a lack of a reasonable evaluation standard. Second, the results of the procedure and standardization can avoid waste, ensure quality and improve production efficiency.
